Medicare and Medicaid do not reimburse you for electric wheelchair and scooter lifts. Another option is to go through your vehicle’s manufacturer. Ford, GM, and Toyota have great reimbursement plans that vary depending on the make of your vehicle, so contacting them directly is the best direction to go in. Ford— offers up to $1,200 reimbursement

GM— offers up to $1,000 reimbursement
